Software Engineer

Join NICE in Pune, India, as a Software Engineer specializing in .NET and JavaScript, contributing to our cutting-edge communication surveillance products. As part of our Pune Communication Surveillance R&D team, you will implement software features based on technical lead designs, conduct developer-level testing, and provide customer support for product issues. You will ensure code quality through unit testing, adhere to internal guidelines and industry best practices, and maintain modern security standards in application development. This role involves writing reusable code, developing automated tests for comprehensive coverage, participating in code reviews, and actively contributing to Scrum ceremonies. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining necessary documentation, handling tasks of low to medium complexity, and embracing a fast-paced, adaptive project environment.

We seek candidates with the ability to learn and master the communications domain. Essential skills include strong time management, independent and team-oriented work capabilities, and excellent English communication. Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 2-5 years of software industry experience. Proficiency in C# / .NET Framework, .Net Core, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Windows Services is required. Practical knowledge of WebAPI/RESTful API, WiX, and automated unit testing (NUnit, MSTest) is essential. Strong C# experience with OOP and modern design patterns (2+ years), alongside expertise in .Net Core and Microservices, is crucial. Experience designing and building web-based products using .NET Core framework, strong relational database skills with SQL proficiency (preferably MySQL), and experience with Git, AWS DevOps, and CI/CD tooling are highly valued. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must.
