Software Engineering AI Trainer (Remote/Contract)

Join an innovative project-based initiative designed for experienced software engineers to shape the future of Large Language Models (LLMs). As an AI Trainer Consultant, you will contribute to a global technology platform by developing, evaluating, and refining complex software engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-file coding scenarios, including bug fixes, feature development, and refactoring.
• Write comprehensive technical specifications, reference implementations, and robust unit/integration tests.
• Conduct high-quality peer reviews, identifying edge cases and ensuring alignment with production-level standards.
• Develop detailed evaluation rubrics to improve AI system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience in backend or full-stack environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit).
• Proven ability to navigate and debug large, multi-file production codebases.
• Prior experience with LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, or AI/ML data labeling is highly preferred.

Role Details

This is a flexible, remote contract role based in India. Successful consultants can expect a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week with competitive compensation based on project complexity and output quality.
