The Team

You will join the Payments Growth team at Airbnb, which builds features driving revenue growth and economically empowering businesses globally. As part of this product-focused unit, you'll collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Finance teams to deliver impactful projects like our flagship Earnings Dashboard—a critical tool used by hosts worldwide.

Your Impact

Architect and implement complex backend services for the Earnings Dashboard. Translate compliance requirements into clean, well-tested code. Build robust data systems behind host performance metrics and recommendations. Implement experimentation frameworks to measure business impact. Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Design teams.

A Typical Day

Focus on data-driven decision making and system performance optimizations. Collaborate across the organization to prioritize technical requirements. Stay ahead of industry trends in efficiency and availability. Help define coding standards and development best practices.

Your Expertise

- 2+ years experience in backend/full-stack software engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with Java and building services in distributed microservice environments
- Strong frontend skills including HTML, CSS, React, and GraphQL
- Deep expertise in large-scale service-oriented architectures
- Passion for technical quality and system reliability
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Location & Eligibility
