Software Engineer

About the Role

CVS Health invites applications for a Software Engineer - Workforce Insights role focused on developing and operating software for our workforce analytics platform. You will build Python services, SQL transformations, Airflow workflows, deployment tooling, and BI integrations alongside data and HR specialists to create impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain well-scoped software features across Python, SQL, and workflow code following team architecture standards.
• Translate product requirements into technical tasks; collaborate with cross-functional teams on behavior definitions and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain BigQuery transformations/models adhering to established conventions for grain, keys, history, and query efficiency.
• Implement workforce metric definitions in SQL/BI integrations while preserving logic clarity and testability.
• Prioritize security by keeping PII out of tables/logs, enforcing access controls, policy tags, row-level security, and small-cell suppression patterns.
