Role Overview
We are seeking an Infrastructure Platform Engineer (Software Engineer) for our Financial Services division, operating remotely throughout the United States. This role offers a unique opportunity to design, automate, and evolve foundational platform capabilities that empower engineering teams and intelligent automation systems.

Your Mission
- Design, build, and enhance infrastructure platform capabilities that support scalable and resilient software delivery across AWS environments.
- Create secure-by-default, observable-by-default, and developer-friendly experiences for your internal teams.
- Leverage Terraform to maintain consistent Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, promoting governance and operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
Cloud & Container Mastery: Manage AWS services including compute, container orchestration with Kubernetes, databases, search, and monitoring platforms. Optimize environments for scalability, reliability, performance, and security while supporting modernization initiatives.
Automation Excellence: Develop reusable modules, automation workflows, and deployment frameworks to eliminate repetitive tasks. Build tools that provide deep visibility into system health through advanced observability solutions (logging, tracing).
AI & Innovation: Contribute to infrastructure platforms supporting both human operators and AI-driven systems. Design guardrails that enable safe interactions with next-generation automation technologies.
What We Need From You
- AWS cloud native expertise and strong Linux/OS fundamentals (networking, file systems).
- Terraform mastery for managing multi-contributor environments.
- Kubernetes experience in production settings for containerized workloads.
Preferred: Experience with SOC 2/HITRUST compliance frameworks, CI/CD pipelines on GitHub, and open-source contributions will be highly valued.
