About the Role

Join BravoTran's engineering team as a Software Engineer. You will contribute directly to product features, bug fixes, and technical improvements within a supportive environment led by senior engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

• Innovate & Improve: Contribute to the platform using your skills in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Elm, React, Redis, Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• User-Centric Design: Learn customer needs directly to make thoughtful engineering decisions that impact global freight operations.
• Collaborate: Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, design discussions, and team planning events.
• Communicate Clearly: Ask insightful questions, raise issues early, and keep progress transparent for the entire team.

Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications):

• Fresh Start Friendly: Some experience building software is required. This can come from coursework, internships, professional work, open-source projects, or personal builds.
• Tech Stack Interest: Familiarity with modern technologies like Ruby on Rails, Elm (functional programming), React, Machine Learning, and Cloud infrastructure (AWS/K8s) is a plus. We value your ability to learn over having all the specific tools listed immediately.
