Software Engineer

LogiNext seeks a skilled and experienced Software Engineer focused on front-end development to design and build exceptional user interfaces. This role involves collaborating on complex challenges related to visualizing vast datasets and establishing best practices for front-end development. You will be instrumental in creating secure, high-performing, and scalable front-end applications with a strong emphasis on usability, elegance, and simplicity, utilizing open-source tools and existing frameworks. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate wireframes into functional requirements and develop well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance code for UI components.
• Collaborate closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing enhancements to user interface, software architecture, or new technologies.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scale, ensuring support for diverse clients from high-powered desktops to low-end mobile devices.
• Foster knowledge sharing and mentorship, demonstrating strong ethics and teamwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in developing responsive, elegant, efficient, and cross-browser front-end applications using Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficiency with MVC frameworks and UI libraries such as ReactJS and D3.js.
• Experience with Map APIs like Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, and other powerful information-rich mapping solutions.
• Familiarity with UX processes and design principles.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale projects, with a deep understanding of Agile SDLC, collaboration, and leadership.
• Excellent written and oral communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
