Software Engineer

LogiNext is seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a focus on front-end development to join our Mumbai team. This role involves designing and building user interfaces that not only meet but exceed client expectations for value and benefit. You will play a key part in tackling scalability challenges related to visualizing vast amounts of data and information. A core aspect of this position will be identifying, defining, and promoting best practices for front-end development.

We are looking for individuals passionate about creating secure, high-performance, and scalable front-end applications. Your design sensibilities should lean towards usability, elegance, and simplicity. A preference for open-source tools and existing frameworks is advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this collaborative role.

Responsibilities

• Translate wireframes into functional requirements, developing well-abstracted, reusable, and high-performance code for UI components.
• Collaborate closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing enhancements to the user interface, software architecture, or adoption of new technologies.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scale, ensuring support for diverse clients ranging from powerful desktop computers to low-end mobile devices.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members, demonstrating a high level of ethics and teamwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in developing responsive, elegant, efficient, and cross-browser front-end applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with various MVC frameworks and UI libraries, such as ReactJS and D3.js.
• Proficiency with Map APIs like Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, and other powerful information-rich mapping solutions.
• Familiarity with UX processes and design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale projects, with a deep understanding of Agile SDLC, strong collaboration skills, and leadership potential.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
