Software Engineer

EPAM Systems is seeking an Intelligent Automation Developer for a cross-functional team building a Proof of Concept centered on end-to-end automation. The role involves designing and building automation workflows using the UiPath Platform, integrating RPA with orchestration via Maestro, and incorporating AI/agentic functionality including LLM-based agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build robust automation workflows using UiPath (Studio, Maestro, Orchestrator).
• Develop end-to-end process automations combining RPA bots, API/service integrations, and AI/LLM-driven agentic components.
• Configure process orchestration and manage state using Maestro or equivalent workflow layers.
• Integrate with external systems such as SAP, various APIs, and internal services.
• Implement human-in-the-loop steps for validation, approvals, and exception handling.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Architects to iterate rapidly throughout the Proof of Concept phase.
• Aid in testing, deployment strategies, and preparing comprehensive demos.
• Create detailed documentation of workflows, logic, and architecture to support future scaling into production environments.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands-on development experience on the UiPath Platform, including Studio and Orchestrator.
• Solid background in workflow orchestration concepts such as Maestro and BPMN-style thinking.
• Demonstrable knowledge of agentic automation and LLM integration patterns.
• Proven experience connecting APIs, web services, and enterprise systems like SAP.
• The ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative Proof of Concept environments focused on business outcomes.
