Software Engineer

About the Role

EPAM is seeking an Intelligent Automation Developer with strong hands-on UiPath experience to join a cross-functional team building a Proof of Concept (POC) centered on end-to-end automation. This role combines Robotic Process Automation (RPA), orchestration, and AI/agentic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build automation workflows leveraging UiPath Studio, Maestro, and Orchestrator.
• Develop end-to-end process automations integrating RPA bots, API/service integrations, and AI/LLM-powered agentic elements.
• Set up process orchestration and manage state using Maestro or similar workflow layers.
• Connect with external systems including SAP, APIs, and internal services.
• Build in human-in-the-loop checkpoints for validation, approvals, and exception handling.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Architects to iterate quickly throughout the POC phase.
• Assist with testing, deployments, and preparing for demos.
• Create comprehensive documentation covering workflows, logic, and architecture to support future production scaling.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on development experience on the UiPath Platform (Studio and Orchestrator).
• Solid background in workflow orchestration concepts, including Maestro and BPMN-style thinking.
• Knowledge of agentic automation and LLM integration patterns.
• Experience connecting APIs, web services, and enterprise systems.
• Capability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative POC settings with a strong problem-solving mentality focused on business outcomes.
