Software Engineer

Addepar is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic Trading team in Pune, Maharashtra. This team develops critical, performance-sensitive distributed services that underpin the entire Addepar engineering stack and are vital for delivering customer-facing applications. As a member of this talented engineering group, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and deploying systems that drive Addepar's growth and global expansion.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, efficient, and thoroughly tested code, setting a standard for best practices.
• Engage in full-stack and backend development across the entire software lifecycle, including front-end, back-end, and database components.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews to ensure code quality, identify issues, and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Address complex technical challenges with innovative and effective solutions.
• Optimize application performance to ensure speed and efficiency.
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging systems.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java.
• Experience with both relational and non-relational datastores.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging systems is expected. Expertise in any of these areas is highly advantageous.

Important Note: This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring 3 days per week attendance at our Pune office.
