About This Role
As a Senior Principal Software Engineer (Java & AWS) in Hyderabad, you will serve as a strategic technical leader responsible for the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. You will work across diverse product teams to drive architectural best practices, mentor senior engineers, and influence product direction with a focus on innovation, resilience, and customer value.
Your Typical Day
- Act as both a technical architect and hands-on contributor for complex, enterprise-scale software systems.
- Define and promote architectural blueprints, patterns, and standards to improve consistency, quality, and time-to-market.
- Collaborate with product management, UX, DevOps, and customer success teams to align technical direction with business priorities.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (including AI/ML applications like OCR and semantic search) to maintain Infor's competitive edge.
