About the Opportunity

As a Software Engineer, SMS Adapter, you will develop and maintain critical connectors integrating store-level systems with our accounts payable platform. This role ensures reliable data synchronization for retail environments and enables non-technical operators to manage the system confidently.

• Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain adapters connecting in-store systems to the AP platform
• Design robust sync processes (delta/full), retry mechanisms, and failure visibility
• Manage local data storage and credentials for secure operation
• Enhance setup/monitoring tools for store staff
• Establish automated test coverage
• Handle packaging, updates, and installation for deployed software
• Collaborate with pilot customers to resolve issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of end-to-end product ownership experience
• Experience developing software for end-user machines (packaging/distribution)
• Strong database skills, including reverse-engineering schemas
• Proven ability to write dependable integration code
• Knowledge of testing strategies and operations in ambiguous environments
