Software Engineer

About This Role

Join Infor's Development team in Hyderabad as a Senior Software Engineer to build a new Data Fabric capability that bridges structural data gaps across ERP products. You will design core pieces of the semantic layer, including ontology models and canonical entity schemas using RDF/OWL.

Your Day-to-Day

• Design and build ontology models (RDF/OWL) for cross-ERP integration domains like Customer Master and Financials.
• Develop SPARQL queries and Apache Jena-based services, including TDB2-backed stores, for production-scale semantic data access.
• Lead mapping design between disparate ERP schemas into a shared canonical model.
• Create SHACL validation rules and partner on test strategy with Quality analysts.

Mentorship & Architecture

You will review code from Software Engineers, mentor them through ontology modeling paths, participate in architecture reviews, and present design trade-offs to stakeholders. Your work supports future GenAI/RAG use cases over Data Fabric's knowledge graphs.

Qualifications

• Basic: 6+ years of software engineering experience; 4+ years with Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs); hands-on or rapid ramp-up on RDF/OWL, SPARQL, Apache Jena; complex data modeling skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge graph work in enterprise contexts; SHACL/Fuseki familiarity; multi-tenant SaaS architecture experience; GenAI/LLM patterns like RAG.
