Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer (SE 2) specializing in Frontend Development based in Chennai for full-time work. The primary responsibility involves implementing client-side architecture for web and mobile applications across new and existing products, ensuring high quality, usability, and robustness.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop scalable frontend solutions using Angular (10+) or React.js with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
• Convert user stories into enterprise-level software solutions while adhering to company best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers (SDE1/JSDE), lead code reviews, and ensure high unit test coverage using standard testing tools.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to resolve customer issues during field deployments and provide quick technical support.
• Design larger systems that work effectively across multiple teams, leading projects from design conception to production completion.
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and soft skills including negotiation and cross-team communication.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a portfolio of successful projects.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks like Django or Flask is an added advantage for full-stack visibility.
• Strong understanding of Web application security and secure coding practices (OWASP).
• Hands-on knowledge of GIT version control tools in distributed team environments.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with diverse global teams.
