Software Engineer

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a confidential client focused on investment management. As a Software Engineer, you will build scalable cloud-based subscription management and purchasing services while contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of software development including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, integration testing, and bug fixing.
• Independently design and deliver medium to complex functionality with low operational overhead.
• Collaborate within multi-functional teams to ensure a superb end-to-end user experience for our customers.
• Engage in fast prototyping of ideas and concepts by researching the latest industry trends.
• Build features that enhance usability; track metrics, formulate improvement ideas, and increase adoption.
• Perform analysis and experimentation on data flowing through various systems/services.
• Develop high-quality data consistency and validation features.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, Object-Oriented design, and RESTful services.
• Strong proficiency with databases, SQL, data experimentation, and analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time in an Agile environment.
