The Core Resource Management (CRM) team at Anaplan is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our Kubernetes-powered platform. This role offers the opportunity to utilize Rust for creating robust and elegant solutions with immediate impact. Key projects include cost optimization for resource tracking and right-sizing, event streaming for customer action monitoring, and ensuring the platform's resilience under heavy customer workloads. These fast-paced and strategically vital projects require a candidate who is a strong engineer with a track record of delivering production-ready code, a quick learner adaptable to new skills, and a collaborative team player. We value individuals who are hungry, energized, and confident in contributing to technical discussions.

- Experienced in writing, releasing, and supporting production-ready code.
- Quickly learns and adapts to new technologies and team needs.
- Collaborative, providing and receiving feedback effectively, and explaining complex ideas clearly.
- Possesses drive, curiosity, and motivation to achieve significant goals.
- Comfortable sharing ideas and participating in dynamic technical discussions.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects into production.
- Hands-on experience with deploying and maintaining services in live environments (DevOps).
Technologies Utilized:
- Rust: Daily use; prior exposure is beneficial.
- Kubernetes: Deep integration; work with it from the start.
- Helm: Used for application deployment; work with it from the start.
- Grafana: Essential for observability and service support; experience with similar tools is required.
- Jenkins: Used for continuous build pipelines; experience with Jenkins or equivalent is advantageous.
