Software Engineer

In this role, you will work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts, and tools. You will collaborate with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform. Your responsibilities will include producing complex and critical software rapidly and with high quality, contributing to the full lifecycle of solutions from development to maintenance and decommissioning, optimizing software engineering capabilities, and designing, testing, and implementing software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering, design, and architecture, with a strong understanding of how their expertise supports customers. A minimum of seven years of experience with PySpark is required, along with expertise in AWS Data Engineering ecosystems such as Athena, Glue Catalog, S3, EMR Serverless, and Airflow. Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, wikis, multiple programming languages or low-code toolsets, and DevOps and Agile methodologies is also necessary. The ability to solve highly complex, analytical, and numerical problems and implement programming best practices for scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance is essential.
