Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at bp's IT&S Group, you will join a technical team focused on solving high-priority business problems. You are expected to deliver innovative solutions within the Palantir Foundry environment and collaborate with product teams.

• Palantir Foundry: Work with Ontology, Code Repositories, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Quiver, Contour, data integration, and ETL processes.
• Backend Development: Develop using Python, Spark, TypeScript, SQL for scalable backends.
• Frontend Development: Build web apps with React JS, Next.js, Node.js for intuitive user interfaces.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage AWS/Azure to ensure performant and reliable services.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Manage end-to-end quality, deployment pipelines, testing, monitoring, and incident management. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in full-stack software engineering with strong Palantir Foundry background.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Spark, TypeScript, SQL; Frontend skills in React JS/Next.js; Cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure); Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration and documentation abilities.
