Software Engineer

NICE is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Software Developer to join our Communication Surveillance R&D team in Pune, India. This role involves contributing to our cutting-edge products in the communication surveillance domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement software features based on designs provided by the tech lead.
• Plan and execute developer-level testing to ensure adherence to design and requirements.
• Provide support to customers by resolving product issues.
• Perform unit testing to ensure high-quality code is merged into the product.
• Write, test, and maintain code that complies with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
• Ensure applications are built with modern security standards.
• Develop reusable code and libraries.
• Create automated tests to achieve appropriate code coverage.
• Participate in code reviews as both a reviewer and reviewee.
• Contribute to team Scrum ceremonies.
• Create and maintain necessary documentation.
• Manage tasks of low to medium complexity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-5 years of professional experience as a software developer.
• Proficiency in C# / .NET Framework, .Net Core, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Windows Services.
• Practical knowledge of WebAPI/RESTful API, WiX (Windows Installer).
• Experience with automated unit testing (NUnit, MSTest).
• Strong C# experience (2+ years) including OOP and modern design patterns.
• Solid experience with .Net Core and Microservices.
• Experience designing and building web-based products using the .NET Core framework.
• Strong relational database experience with proficiency in SQL (preferably MySQL).
• Proficiency in writing testable, reusable code and developing scalable applications.
• Experience with Git, AWS DevOps, CI/CD, and other development process tooling.
• Excellent communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
