Your responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of developers to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient microservices architectures using **Java 11+/17, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and modern frontend technologies (React/React Native)**.
- Designing and implementing **event-driven systems, cloud-native services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and Kubernetes/Docker pipelines** while ensuring seamless CI/CD integration.
- Ensuring robust security practices, including **API Gateway, OAuth2, JWT, and compliance with Barclays’ risk and controls frameworks**.
- Optimizing performance, scalability, and maintainability through **unit testing (JUnit/Mockito), contract testing (PACT/Postman), and adherence to Barclays’ code quality standards**.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Driving leadership behaviors (Listen, Energise, Align, Develop) to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Acting as a strategic advisor on digital transformation, risk management, and innovation within the organization.
