Mastercard is seeking a talented Software Engineer in Pune to focus on Data Unification. This role is crucial for creating a single, unified view of data from diverse sources. You will be instrumental in developing innovative, data-driven cyber products, services, and actionable insights. Partner with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Platform Strategists, and Technology teams to understand data needs and deliver high-value data solutions. You will perform statistical modeling, aggregation, and processing to extract insights from complex, high-volume datasets. The position involves manipulating and analyzing data from various sources using advanced techniques, identifying and integrating new data assets to enhance customer value, and generating actionable recommendations for business growth. You will also collect and synthesize feedback for new solutions and product enhancements, applying knowledge of metrics and benchmarking.
About You:
- Hold a B.Tech, M.Tech, or Masters degree from a premium institute.
- Possess 2-5 years of overall experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
- Possess knowledge of data mining and machine learning algorithms and tools.
- Experience in data modeling, programming, querying, data mining, and report development using large datasets for business intelligence and custom reporting.
- Exhibit a strong interest in current affairs and news media.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities and experience with publishing papers or blogs.
- Be a self-starter with a passion for problem-solving.
- Maintain high energy levels, flexibility, adaptability, and strong collaboration skills.
- Be well-planned, organized, and structured in managing time and work effectively.
