Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and own the end-to-end development of data solutions crucial for E+D to gain strategic insights, optimize user experiences, and adapt quickly to evolving market conditions.
• Leverage your engineering and analytical skills to tackle petabyte-scale data challenges using modern data analytics technologies. You will work with an increasing volume of data signals from various M365 suite products and company partners.
• Address complex engineering challenges involving large, disparate, and intricate datasets to build an efficient and reliable platform for data wrangling and curation.
• Integrate diverse data democratization and visualization techniques to extract deep insights from data, making them readily accessible for self-service analysis across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, coupled with proven coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
• Strong coding proficiency in C++, C#, or Java. Proficiency in any detail-oriented language with strong design principles and implementation skills is also valued.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with modern web technologies including JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of high-quality software design and development experience.
• Excellent judgment, solid engineering skills, and a strong desire to learn and master new technologies.
• Versatile engineering capabilities with the ability to work across different platforms.
• A passion for designing and building compelling solutions that connect millions of users with the power of Microsoft 365.
• Experience with data engineering technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Kusto, Flink, or Azure Data Factory, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes/AKS.
• Experience working on Win32, iOS/Mac, or Android platforms.
• Experience collaborating effectively within an engineering team and a genuine passion for continuous learning.
