Software Engineer

Siemens EDA is seeking talented individuals to join our team. As part of a group dedicated to developing comprehensive Verification IPs (VIPs) for advanced interfaces like PCIe Gen5/Gen6, USB3.2, 400Gigabit Ethernet, DDR5, and LPDDR5, you will play a key role in driving technological advancements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Integrate and leverage Verification IPs (VIPs) for PCIe/CXL (Gen3/Gen4/Gen5/Gen6).
• Speficy, implement, test, and enhance these verification components for diverse end-user applications.
• Work with technologies including SystemVerilog (SV), UVM, Assertions, Coverage, Test Plans, Bus Functional Models (BFMs), debugging, and logging.

What We're Looking For:

• Graduates or Post-Graduates (Bachelors/Masters) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or VLSI from reputable engineering institutions, with 2-5 years of solid software development experience. Prior experience in EDA is highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with protocols such as AMBA, PCI/PCIe, SAS, Ethernet, or MIPI.
• Proficiency in IP and SOC level verification.
• Familiarity with verification methodologies like Specman, SV, UVM, OVM, TLM, Assertions, Coverage, co-simulation, and co-verification.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with external teams.
• Experience with FPGAs or Emulation is beneficial.
• Excellent scripting and automation skills are a significant plus.
