Software Engineer Node.js

C1X Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Node.js to join our Chennai, India team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing our Advertising & Marketing Technology (AMT) servers, building integrations with third-party services and ad exchanges, optimizing performance, and implementing new features aligned with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable, efficient APIs and services leveraging Node.js.
• Develop robust, high-performance, and resilient back-end systems to cater to diverse product needs.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and development estimates.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
• Construct and manage back-end components for large-scale web applications.
• Ensure strict adherence to privacy, data security, and industry best practices.
• Continuously explore and integrate emerging technologies and trends in Node.js development.
• Implement integrations with essential services like Google Analytics and other third-party platforms.
• Actively participate in architectural design discussions and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality and scalability standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; exceptional coding proficiency on platforms like LeetCode/HackerRank can be considered as a substitute.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining high-performance backend systems using Node.js.
• Demonstrated expertise with Node.js frameworks such as NestJS or Express.js.
• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in both JavaScript and TypeScript.
• In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs, web technologies, and networking protocols.
• Practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to technologies like Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and DevOps principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advertising platforms, including display, mobile, or video advertising.
• Familiarity with customer data systems, marketing platforms, and the broader AdTech ecosystem.
