Software Engineer

Thales seeks a passionate Software Engineer to join its Cyber Security Products engineering team in Noida, India, focusing on developing and maintaining integration agents for enterprise-grade security solutions. This role is part of the Cyber Security Products (CSP) business line within Thales's Cybersecurity & Digital Identity (CDI) Global Business Unit. The integration agents are crucial for ensuring secure, seamless connectivity and data synchronization across diverse enterprise environments, providing robust authentication, synchronization, logging, and gateway capabilities to maintain security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration agents for secure communication and data synchronization across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement integration requirements.
• Enhance agent performance, reliability, and security through feature implementation.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions for code quality and architectural integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal reported issues, offering timely support.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization activities.
• Document technical specifications, design decisions, and implementation details.
• Engage regularly with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience in enterprise applications or integration solutions.
• Strong proficiency in .NET or Java.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., LDAP, RADIUS).
• Knowledge of system integration patterns and middleware technologies.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
• Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles.
• Experience with API development and RESTful web services is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker is a plus.
• A four-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
