Software Engineer .NET - GSDCost at Madura Coats

Madura Coats is seeking a Software Engineer proficient in .NET to join their GSDCost team. This role focuses on the development and maintenance of Coats Digital Web Applications. You will be instrumental in enhancing existing software functionality built with ASP.NET back-ends and the Vue.js front-end framework, ensuring timely delivery according to agreed standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop native cloud applications.
• Ensure and maintain optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of product applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.
• Participate actively in design meetings, planning sessions, project estimations, and system architecture discussions.
• Build testable software with high-quality unit tests.
• Build and maintain QA/UAT/Production releases, along with associated documentation.
• Regularly report on progress, challenges, and risks.

Key Relationships:

You will collaborate with internal teams including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Specialists, Quality Assurance Teams, and Support Teams. External relationships will also be a part of this role.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

Essential:

• MCA or B.Tech completed in 2019 or later.
• Proficiency in the .NET framework, Entity Framework, and their design/architectural patterns (e.g., Repository pattern).
• Experience with SaaS application design patterns and practices.
• Hands-on experience with MVC and Web API.
• Proficiency in C# and its ecosystem.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of single-page applications (SPA) and their unique challenges.
• Experience in designing and implementing REST-based APIs.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
• Strong experience with Git source control and feature branching.
• Good exposure to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) using relevant tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams to ensure project success within timeline and scope.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Telerik/KendoUI or Bootstrap.
• Experience developing software in a SOA/microservices paradigm.
• Experience with design patterns like Domain-Driven Design and Event Sourcing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Experience working in an Agile team following practices like Scrum, Agile, SAFE, or Kanban.
• Microsoft accreditations in Cloud or Development, or similar.
