Mid-Level Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer) – Mumbai

Tech Stack: Java/Spring (Backend) | Angular/TypeScript (Frontend).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full product lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, development, configuration, and deployment.
• Develop software using Agile methodologies, including Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Continuous Deployment practices.
• Maintain, enhance, and fix defects for Smartstream solutions and internal toolkits.
• Adhere to engineering processes, coding guidelines, and quality standards.
• Build scalable, resilient software meeting global financial institution requirements.
• Create comprehensive unit and integration test suites.
• Develop automation solutions to streamline the development lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Java 8/17+ and Angular 15+.
• Proficiency in Git, Maven, NPM, and Jenkins Pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Spring Framework/Spring Boot microservices architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• SQL experience on Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Kiro, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot.

Good to Have

• Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift experience.
• Awareness of MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Cloud technologies exposure, preferably AWS.

Experience & Education

5+ years in software engineering. Engineering graduate with CS/IT background required.
