Software Engineer

Role Overview:

Snap Inc. invites applications for a Software Engineer role within the Core Inference team of its core ML Platform organization. This position focuses on building and operating infrastructure to optimize, host, and serve recommendation models, embedding-generation models, and self-hosted LLMs at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support models powering personalized experiences across key Snap products including Discover, Stories, Spotlight, Camera, Chat, Maps, Games, Minis, Creative Tools, Memories, My AI, Security, Ads, Content, and Growth.
• Optimize, export, and prepare models for efficient production use within training and inference pipelines.
• Own the infrastructure hosting recommendation models, embedding-generation models, and self-hosted LLMs.
• Develop solutions for LLM fine-tuning, reinforcement learning infrastructure, serving, and inference optimization.
• Provide model-hosting capabilities to diverse internal teams including Ads, Content, Growth, etc.
