Software Engineer Level 1

Join Ideagen's dynamic Product R&D department as a Software Engineer in Hyderabad, India. This full-time, work-from-office role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual passionate about software development and professional growth. You will be a key contributor to our Agile development team, actively participating in the Software Development Lifecycle to deliver innovative products. Your role will involve contributing to Sprint backlog development, ensuring the timely achievement of Product team goals.

At Ideagen Audit Analytics, we are expanding our development team and seeking a skilled Full-Stack PHP Developer. If you thrive on solving complex problems with creativity and precision using web technologies, this is an excellent opportunity. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications for internal operations and external clients. This role offers hands-on experience with large datasets, integrating multiple data sources, and developing scalable applications using SQL.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with relational databases, primarily MariaDB/MySQL, to manage and query large datasets.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Contribute to the planning and architecture of software platforms used across multiple products.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PHP development in a business environment.
• Strong proficiency in the Laravel framework.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL preferred).
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and team collaboration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to AWS services and cloud-based development.
• Understanding of design patterns and various programming paradigms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for simplifying complex data challenges.
• Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.
