Software Engineer Junior

Gentrack Ltd is seeking a motivated Software Engineer – Junior to join our team in Pune, India. This role is crucial for developing high-quality Gentrack products, requiring active collaboration with team members and developers across various teams. Adherence to best coding practices and a strong team mindset are essential.

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will support initiatives aligned with our company values, demonstrating a commitment to environmental and social responsibility. This includes identifying and proposing local sustainable practices in line with our Sustainability Charter and actively participating in sustainability challenges via our app to foster more sustainable behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requests and produce solution artifacts and estimations.
• Conduct peer reviews of solution artifacts.
• Develop, maintain, deploy, and support solutions throughout their implementation lifecycle.
• Produce relevant documentation for knowledge transfer.
• Actively participate in planning sessions, stand-ups, estimations, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Build strong business relationships with customers.
• Ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
• Contribute to the team's quality delivery of tasks.
• Identify and highlight relevant risks and propose resolution recommendations.
• Perform basic network and database tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers across all channels.
• Provide advice to customers on the optimal use of Gentrack products and industry best practices.
• Collaborate within an integrated business team to achieve optimal business solutions.
• Serve as a positive influence for technical best practices.
• Be open to working with proprietary languages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional development and commercial experience.

Experience:
