Software Engineer

About this Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer - Java to join our team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. In this role, you will contribute to low to moderately complex technology initiatives focused on installation, upgrades, and deployments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for improving service quality and availability within our technology domain environment.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects associated with the technology domain, including critical upgrades and deployment efforts.
• Analyze technical assignments related to low to medium risk deliverables requiring research and evaluation of alternative technologies.
• Present actionable recommendations for resolving issues or escalate them as needed to meet established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Exercise independent judgment while developing a deep understanding of security and compliance requirements within the technology domain.
• Provide timely information and support to colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders across various teams.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on development experience building complex, highly integrated web-based applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework (MVC, Boot), Microservices, and Private Cloud (PCF) within Agile teams.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React JS is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in version control tools such as GIT, build automation with Maven/Gradle, and project management via JIRA.
• Hands-on experience working with No-SQL Databases, particularly MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Automation Frameworks.
• Experience implementing Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) including Performance Optimization, Scalability, and Reusability strategies.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodology and collaborative development practices.
