Job Overview: Post-Trade Java Developer (with React Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications for post-trade operations. Utilize cloud-native technologies and distributed systems to build resilient solutions. Implement efficient concurrency for high-volume trade data processing. Optimize code and database performance. Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Build robust, event-driven systems with fault-tolerant strategies and resilience patterns.
• Frontend Development (React): Develop intuitive, responsive UIs with React.js to support trade workflows. Build reusable components and implement state management solutions (e.g., Redux, React Context). Collaborate with UI/UX designers for an optimal user experience. Optimize performance for large-scale financial data applications. Integrate frontend with Java microservices via RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Collaboration & Best Practices: Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and stay current with emerging technologies in cloud-native development, distributed systems, and frontend frameworks. Work within an Agile framework and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Java development experience, with proven expertise in designing scalable Java applications and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging frameworks.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Minimum of 4 years of frontend experience with React.js, including hooks, component lifecycle, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in state management (e.g., Redux, React Context) and API integration.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, with a focus on performance optimization for scalability.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices is advantageous.
