We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with Java development expertise to join our team in Pune, India. This role involves contributing to the implementation and enhancement of our Pricefx solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and configuration of the Pricefx solution using Groovy, aligning with business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, formalize, and communicate business requirements.
• Work closely with the support team and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Support Solution Architects in developing and maintaining user stories.
• Configure the solution based on Solution Architecture and defined user stories.
• Collaborate with the project team to address and resolve issues.
• Contribute to product enhancements and improvements.
• Mentor junior colleagues, transferring knowledge and best practices for the solution.
• Analyze and define requirements for integrating data with external IT systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Strong Java programming language skills.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases is essential.
• Knowledge of Groovy is a must.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Java development.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the PriceFX IntelliJ development tool and deployment.
• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and integrations using JSON/REST APIs.
• Good understanding of PriceFX data models, including master tables, company parameters, data marts, and data sources.
• Experience in writing calculation logics and data loads for business needs such as LPQ, CPQ, and Rebates.
• Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub terminology.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
• SaaS experience.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
• Readiness to learn new technologies.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with enterprise software implementation projects.
• Knowledge of PriceFX is highly desirable.
• Experience with pricing domain projects is a significant plus.
• Internship or work experience in Europe or the US is appreciated.
• Specialist knowledge of data from database management systems.
