Full Job Description
Michelin is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on Java Development for their Pune, India location. This permanent role involves contributing to the design, implementation, and configuration of the Pricefx solution, utilizing Groovy and Java. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, collaborating with support teams and stakeholders to resolve technical issues, assisting Solution Architects with user stories, and contributing to product enhancements. The role also requires mentoring junior colleagues and analyzing data integration requirements. Key technical requirements include strong object-oriented programming principles, proficiency in Java and Groovy, experience with relational databases, and working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and JSON/Rest API integrations. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Agile methodologies (Jira), and SaaS environments is advantageous. Experience in pricing domain projects and enterprise software implementation is highly desirable. Candidates should possess a BE/Btech/BSC degree and 2-3 years of hands-on experience with PriceFX development tools and Java development. Experience working in an international environment and an internship/work experience in Europe or the US would be a plus.
