Software Engineer (Japanese Language Proficiency Required)

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong Japanese language skills to contribute to our software development efforts and facilitate seamless communication with our customers in Japan. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in core engineering tasks while acting as a crucial bridge between our India-based technical team and Japan-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in software development and testing activities as an integral part of the engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Project Manager to ensure effective communication and coordination with Japan-based stakeholders.
• Support technical discussions and facilitate coordination with stakeholders located in Japan.
• Assist in clearly understanding and documenting requirements, feedback, and project updates.
• Participate actively in technical meetings and project discussions.
• Provide translation or interpretation for technical conversations as needed.
• Work with internal engineering teams to implement and deliver software components.
• Contribute to the documentation of requirements, technical discussions, and meeting summaries.
• Foster collaborative development and problem-solving within the engineering team.

Required Qualifications:

• Approximately 2 years of experience in software development or testing.
• JLPT N1 or N2 certification is mandatory.
• Excellent written and spoken Japanese and English communication skills.
• Prior experience working onsite in Japan is a strong advantage.
• Experience working with Japanese clients is highly desirable.
