About the Role
Amex Technology is seeking an experienced and motivated Software Engineer to join their in-office team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with the founder on multiple exciting projects. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust web applications using modern technologies.
The ideal candidate will be adept at working on multiple projects concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and deploy full-stack applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js (Express.js), Django, and Python, React Native, Flutter.
- Manage data storage and management with Supabase, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) and be comfortable using Cursor and Claude Code.
- Collaborate directly with the founder on architecture, design, and project execution.
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1.5+ years of hands-on experience in software or web development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, Node.js (Express.js), Django, and Python.
- Experience with Supabase, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with LLMs and Cursor, Claude Code (mandatory).
- Understanding of frontend and backend principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must reside in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and be willing to work in-office.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but not Required)
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
