Speechify is seeking a talented Software Engineer for its iOS Core Product team in Pune, India. Our mission is to ensure reading is never a barrier to learning, and our text-to-speech products are used by over 50 million people globally to enhance reading speed, comprehension, and memory. As the #18 productivity app in the App Store and a recipient of Apple's 2025 Design Award for inclusivity, our iOS app is experiencing significant growth. We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to support our expanding user base and contribute to new, exciting projects that advance our mission. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker passionate about fast-paced environments, product decision-making, and crafting exceptional user experiences.

What You’ll Do
- Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
- Ship production code regularly for the Speechify iOS application.
- Collaborate within a dedicated product team.
- Contribute to product discussions to influence the product roadmap.
- Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
- Experience scaling products to a large user base.
- A proven track record of engineering products from inception through to significant traction.
- Customer obsession, with a focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
- Strong product thinking, capable of making thoughtful decisions about product evolution and guiding internal teams.
- Ability to work with speed and efficiency, differentiating between tasks that can ship immediately and those requiring more time.
- Focus and the ability to engage or work heads-down effectively in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
- Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
Technical Requirements
- Swift programming language expertise.
- SwiftUI development experience.
- Proficiency in Multithreading Programming.
- Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Fastlane.
- Strong understanding and application of SOLID principles.
- Experience with Git and various Git strategies.
