Speechify is seeking a talented Software Engineer, iOS Core Product, to join our mission-driven team in Delhi, India. With our iOS app experiencing significant growth, becoming the #18 productivity app in the App Store, and receiving Apple's 2025 Design Award for inclusivity, we need a skilled engineer to support our expanding user base and contribute to exciting new projects that advance our mission.
This is a pivotal role for an individual who excels in strategic thinking, thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about product development, and has a proven ability to build exceptional user experiences. What You'll Do
- Lead key engineering and product decisions.
- Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
- Collaborate within a dedicated product team.
- Contribute to product discussions and shape the product roadmap.
- Maintain and enhance our complex app architecture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience with products that have scaled to a large user base.
- A strong track record of developing products from inception through to significant traction, with responsibility for engineering the product.
- Deep customer obsession, prioritizing the best possible user experience.
- Proficiency in product thinking, making informed decisions about product evolution and guiding internal teams and designers.
- Agility in generating ideas and discerning which can be shipped quickly versus those requiring more development time.
- Focus and the ability to manage tasks effectively in a busy, remote startup environment.
- Strong technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in the Swift Programming Language.
- Experience with SwiftUI.
- Expertise in Multithreading Programming.
- Familiarity with working with CI/CD infrastructure.
- Experience with Fastlane.
- Adherence to SOLID principles, ensuring each class is designed according to these best practices.
- Experience with Git and a solid understanding of various Git strategies.
