Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on iOS development to join our team in Chennai, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing tasks throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), working under the guidance of experienced professionals and adhering to established internal conventions and standard procedures. You will apply your understanding of internal standards and processes to make sound technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers, managers, and project leads to understand tasks and review solutions.
• Contribute to code and design reviews.
• Develop and maintain high-performing, reusable Swift/SwiftUI code.
• Stay current with the latest mobile technologies, researching new advancements and recommending implementations.
• Identify and address technical debt, developing plans for its removal.
• Partner with product owners to define technical requirements during grooming and planning meetings.
• Work with engineering managers, engineers, and QA to create innovative solutions that meet market needs in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, and delivery schedules, while adhering to development goals and principles.
• Define and develop processes, tools, and methodologies to achieve excellence in software development, testing, and deployment.
• Follow coding standards and guidelines, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of dedicated iOS development experience.
• Highly competent hands-on experience in:
• Solid Swift/SwiftUI programming skills.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience building iOS applications connected to RESTful APIs.
• Practical knowledge of iOS architecture.
