The KubePlatform (KubePlat) Team

We build and scale the foundational compute platform that powers Atlassian's global cloud services. Our mission is to provide an enterprise-grade, highly reliable, and self-healing infrastructure layer spanning compute, Kubernetes control planes, CI/CD, and artifact pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Kubernetes Control Plane: Design and develop core components of Atlassian's Kubernetes control plane platform.
• Multicloud Enablement: Contribute to multi-cloud infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, Oasis, FedRAMP, and other environments.
• FedCompliance & Security: Ensure compliance with security standards like FedRAMP for government clients and broader enterprise needs.
• Cell-Based Architecture: Drive the adoption of cell-based architecture to deliver reliable, highly scalable Kubernetes infrastructure.

Qualifications

You are a strong candidate if you have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering principles, and Core Engineering practices. Practical experience across major cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud (GCP), Azure is essential for success in this role.
