About the Role
We're hiring for a company pioneering a new era of warehouse intelligence through a groundbreaking, vision-powered platform. This innovative solution utilizes autonomous drones and existing equipment to capture real-time data, digitizing historically manual workflows for enhanced facility operations.
- Design and build the foundational data warehouse, transformation layers, and semantic model from the ground up.
- Develop extraction pipelines to move data from production databases into an analytical warehouse.
- Build and extend a shared data model using dbt, defining reusable metrics for consistency across all products.
- Implement data quality checks, freshness monitoring, and alerting for pipelines.
- Ensure tenant isolation and access control patterns are applied to all data models and pipelines.
- Maintain data lineage, tracing metrics back to their source records and raw captures.
What You'll Need
- 2–5 years of experience building and running production data pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, window functions, and CTEs, with an understanding of dimensional modeling.
- Hands-on experience building tested models in dbt or equivalent transformation tools.
- Proficiency in writing production-ready Python code for data pipelines.
- Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or similar.
- Familiarity with loading data from operational databases into data warehouses or lakehouses.
- Production experience with major cloud platforms (Azure or similar), including object storage, Git, CI/CD, and containerization.
- A strong data quality mindset with a commitment to ensuring data accuracy.
