About the Role: Software Engineer (India - Remote)

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications serving global clients.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering peers to ship features end-to-end in an agile remote setup.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
• Optimize applications for peak performance, scalability, security, and latency.
• Participate actively in code reviews to foster continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Troubleshoot bugs, debug complex issues, and enhance existing systems proactively.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, or comparable backend languages.
• Solid experience with popular backend frameworks and designing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases for data management.
• Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within a fully remote team structure across time zones (India).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities essential for distributed collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Previous exposure to fintech domains, SaaS products, or high-traffic web applications.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns.
