Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer for a part-time, fully remote position. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing the Sanmarris business ecosystem platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Core Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain robust back-end services and APIs that power critical features like CRM integration, ERP modules, marketplace logic, event management, and workflow automation.
  
• Collaboration & Strategy: Partner closely with product managers and fellow engineers to refine technical requirements, propose innovative solutions, and ensure our implementations are reliable, secure, and scalable.
  
• Daily Execution: Write clean, maintainable code; conduct rigorous code reviews; troubleshoot production issues; and optimize system performance.

You will also contribute to comprehensive technical documentation, adhere to industry best practices for version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines, and actively participate in agile ceremonies within our distributed team environment.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in Software Development with a track record of delivering production-ready features.
  
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development using server-side technologies (RESTful APIs, databases, microservices, cloud environments).
  
• Strong practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in modern languages.
  
• Versatility with version control systems and collaborative workflows like Git.
  
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, plus experience optimizing performance for high-load systems.
  
• Excellent communication skills to write clear technical documentation and collaborate across functions.
  
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Preferred: Prior exposure to SaaS platforms, CRM/ERP ecosystems, or workflow automation tools.
  
• Ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable working independently remotely, and possesses strong time-management skills.
