About this Role

As a foundational team member, you will be instrumental in constructing the core infrastructure that powers our AI-driven procurement platform. This infrastructure will enable seamless data categorization and harmonization, support agentic AI-driven benchmarking, and facilitate agentic AI-driven negotiations. You will lay the essential groundwork for scalable, innovative solutions designed to revolutionize enterprise spend management.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute the development of foundational infrastructure for our procurement platform, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems, supplier databases, and spend analytics tools.
• Fulfill key technical requirements to optimize workflows for indirect spend categorization using RAG+LLMs, unique part identification extraction, agentic AI-driven benchmarking strategies, and agentic AI negotiation automation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, and debug core issues reported by existing and pilot customers.
• Develop best-in-class web scraping capabilities, including price and catalog scraping.
• Implement fundamental platform functionalities that streamline procurement processes, such as real-time spend visibility, supplier benchmarking, and automated decision-making.
• Implement LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI pipelines to process and analyze large-scale procurement data, generate actionable insights, and power intelligent spend recommendations.
• Apply data privacy principles and implement security best practices, including data anonymization, key obfuscation, tokenization, training models within secure sandboxes, adherence to GDPR standards, and ensuring SOC II compliance.
• Train LLMs and implement agentic AI tailored for procurement, creating intelligent agents capable of finding online benchmarks, cleaning and triangulating dirty data to identify critical part information, locating supplier contact information online, communicating with suppliers, reducing costs, and driving measurable value for enterprises.

Must-Haves

• Engineering background; a Master's degree in Engineering is optional.
• Self-starter with strong initiative and a desire to go beyond assigned tasks.
• 1 to 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 0-1 years of experience growing a product in a startup environment (seed or Series A, B).
• Strong track record of rapid product iteration and customer base growth.
• Proficiency across the full tech stack, with ML expertise and product sense. Ability to code and iterate quickly and scrappily, while also capable of architecting the stack. Experience with Node.js and React is required.
• Exceptional technical talent and leadership potential.
• A strong drive to build a $1B+ VC-backed AI enterprise solution.
