Software Engineer III

ZoomInfo, a leader in Go-To-Market Intelligence, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III specializing in Python to join our Chorus Platform team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is crucial for developing and enhancing our AI-powered Conversation Intelligence platform, which provides sales teams with actionable insights from sales calls.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy large-scale, distributed backend systems handling millions of daily customer requests.
• Own and drive customer-facing features, delivering continuous improvements for user insights.
• Develop and integrate with third-party conferencing and communication platforms via SDKs and APIs.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, data scientists, and front-end engineers to ensure a cohesive user experience.
• Contribute to the ongoing microservice architecture transformation, breaking down monolithic services for improved scalability and performance.
• Solve complex engineering challenges requiring scalable, highly available, and robust infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience, with a strong preference for Python. Experience with NodeJS, Java, or Scala is also valuable.
• Proven track record in designing and developing distributed microservices and large-scale systems.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with RESTful API standards.
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure service performance, scalability, and security.
• Familiarity with both NoSQL and SQL database management, with an emphasis on performance and scalability optimization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and mentor junior engineers.
• Adaptability to work with diverse technologies and take ownership of various product components.
• A BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience is required.

This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
