Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Staff Engineer III (Software Engineer) to join our dynamic team at UKG. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge SaaS technologies and impactful projects used by enterprises worldwide. You will be involved in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions within a collaborative environment.
Specialties
- Front End UI: UI/UX principles, responsive design, JavaScript frameworks.
- DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), containerization/cloud platforms.
- Back End: API development, database management, security practices, message queuing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop clean and efficient code for various software applications. Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to shape architecture. Conduct thorough code reviews adhering to industry best practices. Build testable software using automation tools like Junit and Selenium. Triage defects, debug issues efficiently, and contribute to service health monitoring through telemetry analysis. Document new features and enhancements effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience (4+ years).
- Proficiency in languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and JIRA.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and DevOps principles.
Preferrable Skills
Experience with test automation frameworks, Agile methodologies, and strong communication skills for collaborative teamwork. Commitment to continuous learning is essential.
