Software Engineer III
Full Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer III for our Corporate Technology Credit Risk team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this role, you will serve as a seasoned engineer designing trusted technology products that support critical credit risk objectives at global scale.
You will work within an agile engineering environment to build secure Java applications and React-based front-end features using Spring Boot and Kafka. You'll leverage enterprise AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity while maintaining rigorous security standards for financial data.
Key responsibilities include designing scalable systems, optimizing SQL queries for analytics, collaborating with cross-functional teams on credit risk workflows, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Software Engineering
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework/Spring Boot
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture, and React development
- Solid SQL skills for reporting and data analysis
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise AI coding tools responsibly (e.g., code generation, test creation)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain knowledge in credit risk or financial services frameworks
- Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Skill in data visualization tools for stakeholder reporting
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes containerization technologies
