Software Engineer III

Role Overview

FactSet is currently hiring a Software Engineer III (Full Stack) to join the Stability Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Object-Oriented development skills in Python and C#, proficiency with web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI, and experience with front-end technologies such as Angular.js or Vue.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features and products based on stakeholder requests while maintaining existing product capabilities through bug fixes and refactors.
• Collaborate creatively with cross-functional teams to implement the latest technologies for optimal client experiences.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure high software quality across the organization via unit testing.
• Communicate effectively in a matrix environment, providing status updates to leadership and working within geographically diverse groups.

Requirements

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 2-4 years of industry experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL/PostgreSQL, HTML5/CSS, and modern layout techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
