Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Core Senior Engineer (Software Engineer III) located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This hybrid role requires presence at office for 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and advocate for user-centric solutions.
• Design high-level software architecture covering UI (Angular/React) and backend services.
• Create scalable RESTful microservices using Java 11+, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
• Manage relational databases across PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server with optimized queries.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Tekton on Kubernetes-native environments in GCP Cloud Run.
• Ensure code quality via unit testing (JUnit) and static analysis (SonarQube).

Tech Stack:

We utilize Spring Boot, Java Full stack, Angular/React, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Docker/Kubernetes, Apigee for API Gateway, 42Crunch for security scanning, and FOSSA tools. Experience with messaging systems like Pub/Sub or RabbitMQ is essential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/related field.
• 10+ years of total IT experience; 8+ years specifically in software development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and containerization.
